\nThe concert The Birds took place within an exhibition on the New Horizons Film Festival. The aim of the project was refering to the cinema and activating the imagination of the audience in a way that would make the picture-quotes from the movies appear by themselves. The inspiration was the Alfred Hitchcock movie The Birds. Barely anyone knows that in order to provide sound to the thriller, a special sound generator was created. For that reason for the first time in my work as a composer I also reached for electronics to support the live actions. The concert took place at midnight, and as the audience as the performers were immersed in complete darkness. It was an additional challenge for the performers, but it also created a unique sensitivity for the sound and for the presence of the performers in space.<\/p>\n
